A typical videoscope inspection system consists of three main parts:

1. Camera Probe (also called Insertion Tube): This is the flexible part inserted into the area that needs to be inspected.
2. Video Display Unit (Screen): The live images captured by the probe are displayed on a screen for the operator to view.
3. Bending Control Mechanism: Allows the probe to be maneuvered in different directions to navigate through tight or complex spaces.

Visual Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is a method used to visually inspect the surface defects of materials or components without causing any damage. This technique relies on visual observation and is often assisted by tools such as magnifiers, mirrors, or borescopes, including to identify flaws.

A fiberscope typically uses optical fibers to transmit images. The fiber bundles at both ends ensures the accurate transfer of images over long distances. It is a common tool in remote visual inspection. For decades, it has been used in industrial inspections. Compared to videoscopes, fiberscopes have a much smaller diameter, making them perfect for inspections in tight spaces. Our smallest fiberscope has a diameter of 0.5mm.

1. Rigid Borescope
   1. Uses an optical prism lens system to transmit images directly to the eyepiece.
   2. Provides high-resolution, clear images but is limited to straight-line inspections and cannot bend.
   3. Advantages: Clear image quality and no electronic components or frame rate (FPS) limitations.
2. Flexible Borescope (Fiberscope)
   1. Transmits images through thousands of optical fiber bundles, making it suitable for inspecting curved or complex pipelines.
   2. Due to the "pixelation" effect, the image quality is lower compared to rigid borescopes, and it has weaker focusing abilities.
   3. Advantages: Ultra-thin diameter; our thinnest fiberscope can reach diameters of 0.5mm or even less than that.
3. Videoscope
   1. Features a camera at the tip of the endoscope, replacing the need for optical fibers.
   2. Provides clearer images than flexible borescopes and is ideal for high-definition inspections.
   3. Our HD video borescopes can reach resolutions up to 2 million pixels (2MP) and even 4K. Additionally, video borescope probe diameters have become thinner. Our products available in diameters from 1.0mm to 6.0mm.
